Hansells Cream of Tartar Tips

Add to beaten egg whites to increase their stability and volume. Simply add 1/8 tsp per large egg white when mixture is foamy.

Combine 2 cups water, 2 cups flour, 1 cup salt, 4 tbsp Cream of Tartar, 2 tbsp oil in a saucepan. Stir over a medium heat for 3-5 minutes until mixture has come together and pulls away from the sides of the pan. Allow to cool. Divide into balls and colour with desired Hansells Food Colours folding through the colour until uniform. Store in airtight containers or ziplock bags for up to 6 months.
